“We are at the forefront of digital innovation,” said the European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson in the EMN Annual Conference. The conference presented developments on the Digital transformation in migration which refers to how services and procedures will be shaped by the adoption of digital technologies.

The conference provided timely updates on important topics such as migration management, the use of Artificial Intelligence, risks and opportunities associated with the digitalisation of migration processes, and lessons learned during the pandemic.
